Batu Caves entrance

Batu Caves Hindu Temple
The Batu Caves Hindu Temple located just 13 miles north of Kuala Lumpur in the Gombak district is a unique Hindu cultural experience. They feature many different Hindu shrines inside large natural caves formed in a large limestone hill. The caves are the most visited Hindu shrine outside of India. Even the large shrine adorning the front entrance invites visitors to come and experience Hindu culture. The stairs leading into the caves offer great views of KL and the surrounding area. Watch for the monkeys. They love visitors that bring food. Getting to the top of the stairs at the entrance of the caves requires moderate exercise.
